About Gifterprint
It started with a thought...
Why can finding the right gift for someone be so hard?
Sometimes you know someone incredibly well, but when it comes time to buy them something, your mind goes completely blank. Other times, you simply don't know them well enough to know what they'd genuinely like.
So you start asking around for ideas. You message someone who knows them better. You scroll through endless gift guides online. You search things like:
...and get the same general suggestions that could apply to thousands of people. And somehow, after all that searching, you're still thinking:
“Okay... but what would they actually like?”
That frustration is where Gifterprint started.

Hi, I'm Lana 👋
I'm the person behind Gifterprint. I've always loved thoughtful gifts - particularly the ones where the “thank you” feels genuine, not just polite.
“Oh my gosh, thank you - I love it!”
To me, that's what makes a great gift. It doesn't necessarily need to be expensive, impressive or something the person specifically asked for. It just needs to feel like there was thought behind it.
And I kept coming back to the idea that the information that could help us choose better gifts is there - we just don't always have access to it when we need it:
Little things that can completely change whether a gift feels right or completely misses the mark. I wanted to find a way to make those clues useful - not to take the thought out of gift giving. Actually, the opposite: to make it easier to put the thought back in.
And eventually, that idea became Gifterprint.
Why I'm building it
I don't want Gifterprint to simply tell people what to buy. The person giving the gift should still be part of the magic.
A better starting point
Whether you've known someone for twenty years or you're still figuring out what makes them tick, you start with something more useful than a generic gift guide: the person themselves.
Not just “what do you want?”
There's a big difference between receiving something you asked for and receiving something you never asked for - but someone somehow got so right. That's the feeling I'm trying to create more of.
Less waste
Fewer panic purchases. Fewer unwanted presents sitting untouched in cupboards. If we're going to give gifts anyway, I'd rather they be things people genuinely enjoy.
Built by a real person, for real people
Gifterprint isn't the finished product of some giant company. It's something I'm actively building, testing and improving as real people use it.
Some ideas will evolve. New features will appear. Some things will probably get completely rebuilt because I've had a better idea at 1 a.m. and apparently decided sleep was optional.
But the reason behind it will stay the same:
Make giving feel more thoughtful. Make choosing feel less stressful. Create more of those “how did you know?” moments.
Because a great gift doesn't have to come from knowing everything about someone. Sometimes you just need the right clues. And that's what I want Gifterprint to give you.
